Spring Cleanse

Yoga, Cupping + Acupuncture Workshop

April 12, 2026

Join us for a seasonal Spring Detox experience blending yoga, cupping, acupuncture, somatic awareness, and yoga nidra, designed to clear stagnation, support natural detoxification, and awaken fresh momentum in both body and mind.

Session Flow (12:00–2:00pm)

12:00–12:30pm | Meditation & Cupping
Begin with grounding meditation followed by therapeutic cupping along key meridian pathways to stimulate circulation, release muscular tension, and support the body’s natural detoxification processes. This phase helps move stagnant Qi, reduce inflammation, and create space for renewal.

12:30–1:15pm | Seasonal Yoga Flow & Somatic Release
Move through an easeful, meridian-informed yoga practice focused on the Liver and Gallbladder channels. This sequence opens the hips, inner legs, and side body while incorporating breathwork and subtle somatic unwinding to encourage upward movement, flexibility, and energetic flow.

1:15–1:45pm | Acupuncture & Yoga Nidra
Rest into stillness with a group acupuncture session paired with guided yoga nidra. This deeply restorative phase supports nervous system regulation, activates internal detox pathways, and allows for emotional and physical integration.

1:45–2:00pm | Seasonal Education

Close with practical guidance on liver-supportive foods, herbs, and daily rituals. This portion offers simple, actionable tools to help you continue supporting detoxification, emotional balance, and overall vitality beyond the session.

Rooted in Seasonal Wisdom

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Spring is governed by the Wood element and associated with the Liver and Gallbladder systems, the energetic networks responsible for the smooth flow of Qi and blood.

The Liver, known as the “General,” plays a key role in detoxification, hormonal balance, connective tissue health, and emotional regulation. The Gallbladder supports clarity, courage, and decision-making, helping us move forward with intention.

When in balance, this system fosters creativity, motivation, and vision. When stagnant, it may present as tension, irritability, hormonal imbalances, digestive sluggishness, or a sense of feeling stuck.

This seasonal practice is designed to gently restore flow, clearing winter accumulation without depletion, and supporting the body’s innate ability to regulate, detoxify, and renew.

  • Acupuncture is a gentle and supportive practice that welcomes everyone, whether you’re new to it or returning. The Sunday Ritual Reset has been designed to allow your body to reconnect with your natural rhythms and begin your healing journey. We’ll guide you with care, answer any questions, and create a calm, grounding environment for your experience.

  • AKARA uses high quality Japanese needles that are incredibly thin—much finer than those used in medical settings and about the width of a human hair—and are gently inserted to encourage the flow of energy. You may feel a subtle sensation like warmth, tingling, or a gentle heaviness as your body begins to respond. Many people find the experience deeply calming, even meditative. Your comfort is our priority, and we’ll guide you with care every step of the way.

  • Cupping is a therapeutic technique rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses suction to promote circulation, release tension, and support detoxification.

During the event, we’ll select one body area—commonly the upper back or shoulders—and apply suction cups to gently draw the skin upward. Most people describe the sensation as a deep, relieving pressure.

Cups will be placed for a maximum of 15 minutes. Depending on the level of stagnation in the body, temporary marks may appear afterward—these range from light pink to deep purple and typically fade within a few days as the skin returns to normal.
