Joelle has recently retired from her clinical practice and thoughtfully passed her patients and care into the hands of the AKARA team. With over three decades of experience in acupuncture, she has built a deeply rooted practice centered on presence, connection, and meaningful, lasting care.

Throughout her career, Joelle has guided patients through a wide range of physical and emotional health journeys, creating a space where healing extends beyond symptoms and into the whole person. Many of her patient relationships have spanned years—sometimes decades—reflecting the depth of care and commitment she brings to her work.

As she transitions into this new chapter, Joelle continues to serve as a mentor to the AKARA team, offering guidance and support while allowing new patient-practitioner relationships to grow. Her presence remains foundational to the clinic, shaping its values and the quality of care patients receive.
